Starting conditions
- The site migrated to a subdomain. The technical part was fully optimized, but after the migration, instability was observed: the site ranked in the TOP-10 only for a portion of the target queries.
- Organic traffic: 50 visitors.
- Backlink profile: 50+ domains.
- Goal: To reach TOP 1-3 positions for core high-frequency keywords.
Promotion strategy
Position analysis revealed “growth points” — the site already showed potential for target keywords. It was decided to focus on boosting positions through controlled link building.
What we did
Link building pace
Gradual and natural, to avoid issues from search engines after the migration. We built links in stages.
Donor quality
- Homepage links (80%): we used only domains with full geo-relevance. We did not cut corners; we selected high-quality domains with placements in the header accompanied by surrounding anchor text.
- Outreach (20%): placements only on thematic resources with high technical metrics.
Total used
- Homepage links: approx. 120 units.
- Outreach: approx. 30 units.
Anchor list
60/40 ratio to maintain a natural profile.

Results
Thanks to the gradual link building strategy, we achieved the following:
- The site reached the TOP 1-3 for all priority high-traffic keywords.
- The “gradual growth” strategy allowed the site to successfully pass the adaptation phase after migrating to a subdomain.
